1. General Policy
Due to the nature of construction and renovation services, refunds are generally not applicable once work has commenced or materials have been ordered. However, we aim to handle each case fairly and in line with applicable consumer protection laws.
2. Refund Eligibility
A refund or partial refund may be considered under the following conditions:
- Cancellation before work begins: If the Client cancels the contract before work has started or materials have been ordered, a full or partial refund may be issued, minus administrative or consultation costs if applicable.
- Overpayment: Any verified overpayment will be refunded promptly after confirmation.
- Service not rendered: If agreed services were not provided due to fault of SBAU Construction, and no materials were used or costs incurred, a partial or full refund may be issued.
3. Non-Refundable Cases
Refunds are not issued in the following situations:
- If work has already started or materials have been specially ordered.
- For dissatisfaction not based on defects or deviations from the agreed scope.
- If delays occur due to external factors (e.g. weather, supplier delays, client-side delays).
- If the client cancels without valid reason after the project has begun.
4. Custom Materials and Third-Party Costs
Costs for custom or non-returnable materials ordered on behalf of the client are non-refundable, unless reimbursed by the supplier.
5. Process for Requesting a Refund
To request a refund, please contact us in writing at sambaucompany@gmail.com with:
- Full name and contact information
- Description of the issue
- Invoice or project reference
- Any relevant documentation or evidence
We aim to respond within 10 business days to all refund requests.
6. Legal Rights
This policy does not affect your statutory rights under German consumer and contract law (ยงยง 355, 323 BGB where applicable).
